Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: “I will be like this in Jannah with the person who takes care of an orphan.” Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) raised his forefinger and middle finger by way of illustration [Sahih al-Bukhari, Kitab al-Adab]. The loss of a parent means access to education, the protection of shelter, the sustenance of nutritious meals and the chance for a secure future all become an impossible dream. This is why the responsibility of care for the orphan falls on all of us. Many children are from extremely deprived communities, left to self-provide by litter picking and recycling items. We provide children with shelter, nutritious food, clothing, education, medical aid and most importantly, unconditional love and affection to deserving orphans.

Learning the teachings of the Qur’an is a vital component of the Islamic faith. But despite this, thousands of vulnerable children and orphans across the world are deprived of their right to an education. In addition, many of these children must begin to earn a living and contribute to their families when they are still very young. We are committed to empowering children from underprivileged families and offering them a Quranic education through our Hifz Sponsorship Programme. This provides them with the opportunity to read and understand the Holy Qur’an, as well as providing a rudimentary secular education. Our Hifz sponsorship programme is a 3 years continuous programme.
